Seeking Receptionist / Office Manager for a private art dealer and advisor in midtown Manhattan. Applicants must possess the ability to handle oneself professionally and display the proper etiquette when clients visit the office. Candidates should display a high level of motivation, client service savvy, poise, great organizational skills, and knowledge of the auction and gallery worlds.
On a daily level, applicant must be able to:
•Answer telephones as a front line for the office •Offer administrative assistance in the office •Maintain the upkeep of office and supplies •Facilitate incoming communication and mail •Coordinate with building management regarding client visits and deliveries
This position will also require larger organizational projects including:
•Clerical work including filing •Maintaining office equipment (systems, copier, printers, scanner, etc.) •Updating our extensive art library •Maintaining our office storage unit •Making local, national, and international travel arrangements
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel is a plus, as well as a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and how to scan and print images.
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm.
