Betsy Bayha is the Director of Technology Policy at the World Institute on Disability (WID) in Oakland, CA. WID is a non-profit research, training, and policy development center led by people with disabilities. Ms. Bayha works with a host of stockholders including consumers, regulators, and educators and industry to promote the design of communications technology which is flexible and inclusive of people with disabilities. Before joining WID in 1995, Ms. Bayha was an award-winning radio journalist at National Public Radio affiliate KQED-FM in San Francisco.
