Elizabeth Cahill, Internet Project Manager, BrookLynX
Elizabeth Cahill is Internet Project Manager of BrookLynX , a community networking project of the Fund for the Borough of Brooklyn, Inc., funded by TIIAP in 1996. As such, she organized and implemented the BrookLynX project, which encompassed creating training curricula for community users; solving problems caused by the limited technology and staffing at participating centers; conducting outreach to community-based organizations and small businesses; and evaluating program impact and participation. Cahill graduated with a B.A. from Georgetown University. Before coming to The Fund for the Borough of Brooklyn, she taught job-readiness training and GED preparation at Homes for the Homeless, and was responsible for integrating new technologies at GT Interactive Software. |
