John Jesurun is a playwright, director, and designer whose work integrates text, film, video and live performance. He has toured the US and Europe extensively and in 1986, won an Obie award for "Deep Sleep." His next project, "The End of Cinematics," is a video opera collaboration with composer Mikel Rouse, and will premiere at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2001.
