Named by Newsweek as one of the "50 People Who Matter Most on the Internet," Steven Johnson, 29, is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of FEED, the Web's leading independent magazine. Johnson is also the author of the new HarperEdge book Interface Culture: How New Technology Transforms The Way We Create and Communicate, hailed by Upside Magazine as "a masterwork." His work has also appeared on the op-ed page of The New York Times, Lingua Franca, and the London Guardian. Johnson has degrees in Semiotics from Brown University, and English from Columbia University. A native of Washington, D.C., Johnson currently lives in Manhattan's West Village.
