Ruby Lerner has been the Executive Director of AIVF/FIVF since 1993. Previously she was the Executive Director of IMAGE Film/Video Center in Atlanta and seved as the Exeuctive Director of Alternate ROOTS, a nationally recognized regional service organization for Southeastern performing artists. She has been a fetured speaker at many conferences, served on numerous panels, written many articles, planned conferences and consulted with dozens of arts organizations. She has an extensive background in arts marketing, beginning with her tenure as Audience Development Director at the Manhattan Theater Club in the late 1970s. She is a graduate of Goucher College and attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina.
