Miller, Branda, Artist Producing Work on CD-ROM Branda Miller is an internationally recognized video artist, educator and media activist. A tenured Associate Professor of Electronic Arts at Rensselaer, she has developed workshops designed to educate teachers on how to use media and technology in the classroom, and has collaborated with community and youth groups around the country in Empowerment Video Workshops. She is also an Emmy award-winning editor who has worked extensively in Los Angeles and New York City. Professor Miller’s latest production, Witness to the Future, is an innovative hybrid multimedia project integrating an interactive CD-ROM linked to hundreds of sites on the web, the first electronic publication of the environmental classic Silent Spring by Rachel Carson, and an experimental video documentary. |
