Carol Parkinson is an artist and arts administrator who has lived and worked in Lower Manhattan since 1976. She has been involved with artist-run art spaces such as 112 Workshop Gallery, No Rio, and, since 1982, Harvestworks, where she has done extensive program development, most recently in digital media. She is a board member of Media Alliance and Thundergulch, and has also served on the arts review panels of the New York State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Manhattan Borough President's Awards, the Arts Council of the State of Ohio, the New Music America Advisory Panel and the New York Foundation for the Arts. She is also the co-founder and editor of TELLUS Media and has a degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
