2-Distance Collaborations

Hear from two groups who have incorporated real-time links between remote sites for long distance learning and artists’ collaborations. Manhattan Theater Club's TheaterLink uses computer technology and the Internet to enable students in geographically remote locations to study and create theater together. Lincoln Center Institute uses videoconferencing to bring performing arts events and educational opportunities to New York City schools. David Shookhoff , the Director of Education for Manhattan Theater Club, and Rose Cortico, Production Director of TheatreLink, join Beverly Emmons, the Artistic Director of the Lincoln Center Institute.
