The explosion of online communication and a dramatic increase in for-profit web sites have created a plethora of new laws and customs. This panel, organized by Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, provides an overview and analysis of perspectives on ownership and copyright including artists' rights, commercial, and educational interests. Gloria C. Phares, chair of the committee on copyright and literary property of the Bar Association of the City of NY, is joined by Carin G. Reynolds, Marci A. Hamilton. Amy Schwartzman, Executive Director of VLA, will moderate.
