Gertrude Stein Repertory Theatre’s collaboration with Bell-Labs/Lucent Technologies covers a spectrum of Internet-related applications, including live videoconferencing over the Internet for theater rehearsal, performance, and teaching; multimedia databases for theater archives, on-line research, and curriculum development; and Web-based “learning environments” for the arts and humanities that combine multimedia, 3D digital spaces, interactive exercises, and electronic student portfolios. From TGSRT , John Reaves and Cheryl Faver will present, along with Marah Rosenberg, Bell-Labs, Lucent Technologies’ Multimedia Communications Research Laboratory.
