Board Source
BoardSource, formerly the National Center for Nonprofit Boards, "is the premier resource for practical information, tools and best practices, training, and leadership development for board members of nonprofit organizations worldwide." They publish many inexpensive pamphlets on a wide range of topics relating to boards and nonprofits.

Clearinghouse for Volunteer Accounting Services offers a directory to help nonprofits find accountants to assist them on a volunteer basis free of charge.

Governance Matters
Formerly called the Alliance for Nonprofit Governance, GM is dedicated to promoting good governance for nonprofit organizations. Governance Matters offers a resource directory and a series of helpful short articles, such as myths and realities about nonprofit boards, and Internet resource links.
