Artists selected for the highly competitive NYFA Artists' Fellowships are among the most talented originating artists working today. Past fellows have gone on to win fifteen MacArthur "genius" awards, four Tony Awards, five Pulitzer Prizes, and numerous Guggenheim Fellowships, Bessies (for dance), and Obies (for Off-Broadway theatre), among other accomplishments.
