The deadline for NYFA's 2010 Artists' Fellowships has passed. Please check back in July 2010 for information about next year's deadlines.


In the 2009-2010 cycle, grants will be awarded in the following eight categories.

  • Choreography
  • Fiction
  • Music Composition
  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Playwriting/Screenwriting
  • Video

In the 2010-2011 cycle, the following categories will be reviewed.

  • Digital/Electronic Arts
  • Crafts
  • Film
  • Nonfiction Literature
  • Interdisciplinary Work
  • Poetry
  • Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts
  • Sculpture
