The exhibition was curated by Carol Kinne, Assistant Professor, Department of Art and Art History at Colgate University. "Our new, state-of-the-art Clifford Gallery is a perfect fit for the artwork by the recipients of the NYFA Computer Arts Fellowships. We are proud to bring to the public evidence of NYFA’s ongoing statewide programs to our region."
In conjunction with the exhibition, Meta-Forms included a series of related programs comprised of artist panels and talks, a family computer arts workshop and an Artists’ Community Meeting. Programs were presented by NYFA and Colgate University with regional art partners. All events were free and open to the public.
The Meta-Forms catalogue and website were funded by Joseph A. Mangin (Colgate ’50). Additional funding for the exhibition was provide by the Center for Ethics and World Societies (Colgate University), and the New York State Council on the Arts. The New York State Council on the Arts is the primary funder of NYFA’s Artist Fellowships and Artists & Audiences Exchange, a public service program of NYFA.
