This year’s 118 NYFA Fellows – who were chosen from among over 6,279 applicants in eight categories – including Architecture/Environmental Structures, Choreography, Fiction, Music/Sound, Painting, Photography, Playwriting/Screenwriting and Video. The Fellows were selected by peer panels, which were assembled with representatives from each artistic discipline.

NYFA’s 2010 Artists’ Fellowships are administered by NYFA with leadership support from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State agency. Additional support is provided by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, The Buddy Fund for Justice, the Lily Auchincloss Foundation, Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation, and the Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation.
