Artist Statement:
for the past ten years my work has dealt with personal and cultural history. I've symbolically used simple images such as hands, clothing and flowers, interweaving them at times with images from family photographs and /or found or invented imagery. Mortality, world mythology, rituals and gender issues are some of the underlying starting points which I seek to personalize and universalize through tees images.
