Artist Statement: Design and construction of aarchitectural installation at the 17th Trienalle at Milan, Italy: "Urban, Suburban, and Rural Windows." In process: Design of set and costumes forfor "The Llarge Glass", performance piece based on Duchamp's work, to be staged in the fall at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Elizabeth Diller and Ricardo Scofidio are founding principles of the New York firm, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, which began in 1979. Together, they have developed an alternative form of architecture practice that combines design, performance, and electronic media with cultural and architectural theory and criticism.
Recent projects include interclone hotel, an installation for the Istanbul Biennial, the American lawn: surface of everyday life, an exhibition at the Canadian Centre for Architecture; bad press, which appeared at the Venice Biennale of Architecture; design for the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) cultural district in collaboration with Rem Koolhaas; facsimile, a permanent installation for the new Moscone Convention Center expansion in San Francisco, and travelogues, a permanent installation at the new JFK International Arrivals terminal in New York City.
