Project Title: Boys Dont Cry. Boys Don't Cry is a film about the story of transsexual Tiffany Lewis/Brandon Teena, who was murdered in December of 1993.

Kimberly Pierce’s newest film Stop Loss is the story of an Iraqi soldier who refuses to return to war. Her 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry, an unflinching tragedy that voiced a powerful wake-up call about homophobic violence in America was called “the best American film of the year” by The New York Times, won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for leading actor Hilary Swank, as well as over 30 other society and festival awards internationally.
