More about the Artist:
Todd Hayne's latest work I’m Not There is about the many incarnations of Bob Dylan, one of whom is played by Cate Blanchette who won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar. Haynes’ previous film, Far From Heaven, starring Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid, has received rave reviews along with numerous awards and nominations including four 2003 Golden Globe nominations, along with New York, Chicago, San Diego, and Seattle Film Critics Awards. In this beautifully stylized film, Haynes recaptures the 1950s female-driven melodrama with his brilliant use of colors, dramatic musical score, and engrossing dialogue.

Haynes earlier films such as Superstar and Poison received critical attention and acclaim. In Superstar, Haynes tells the story of singer Karen Carpenter through doll animation. Difficult to find today, this short film has become a cult classic. Poison, which garnered the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, represented Haynes first full-length feature film and was a NYFA Fiscally Sponsored Project.
