Artist Statement:
My work in computer arts is focused primarily on desktop or digital filmmaking. I'm currently interested in examining the way women are portrayed by the media and entertainment industries. My current film, You Got the Look, takes its name from a feminist communiqué issued in the late 1960s by the women of the Weather Underground organization. The film explores popular myths of the outlaw, sex, glamour, and danger, while engaging notions of femininity and class.
