Artist Statement:
My pieces often begin with photographs of rooms or corners in which I have lived or worked. I then construct a three-dimensional representation of the photograph as my primary material. In my larger works, I connect several of these reconstructed corners or walls, fitting them together to enclose a space and to recreate the same space. Recently, my work has moved in the direction of site-specific projects, and my methodology usually follows the same general route.
