I’m delighted to welcome Suzan Sherman as the new Editor of NYFA Current.

We’ve enjoyed a long relationship with Suzan, who is a past NYFA Fellow in Fiction, a former panelist in the Fiction category, and a previous NYFA Current contributor.

Prior to joining NYFA’s staff, Suzan served on the editorial staff at BOMB and Aperture, and has written extensively on art and culture for publications, such as The New York Times, The New York Observer, BOOKFORUM, BOMB, and the Forward.

Suzan is also just finishing up her first novel, Pearl O’Shea, which she began after receiving her NYFA Fellowship.
