"The Internet is a mile wide and an inch deep. There are a lot of incomplete sources of information out there. NYFA Source is not one of them -- its strength is in its housekeeping; and it has the NYFA seal of approval, giving it the instant credibility factor. I believe in its value and I know many artists who get their information from it." -- Chuck Close, Artist

NYFA Source is the most extensive national directory of awards, services, and publications for artists. Listings include over 4,200 arts organizations, 2,900 award programs, 4,200 service programs, and 900 publications for individual artists across the country. More programs are added every day.

Major support for NYFA Source is provided by The Ford Foundation. Additional support is provided by Basil H. Alkazzi, Arete Foundation/Abigail Rebecca Cohen Fund for Youth & the Arts, Artists' Legacy Foundation, Lily Auchincloss Foundation, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, The Cowles Charitable Trust, Fleishhacker Foundation, Flintridge Foundation, The Liman Foundation, Virginia Manheimer, The Joan Mitchell Foundation, Inc., The Merrill G. & Emita E.
