Education Projects Manager
Lincoln Center Theater

Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) seeks a dynamic Education Projects Manager to assume primary responsibility for LCT’s acclaimed Learning English & Drama Project (LEAD) in addition to other administrative tasks within the Education Department. LEAD is an in-school artist residency for English Language Learners (ELLs) that uses theater to support students’ language and literacy skills. This position reports to the Director of Education.

The Education Projects Manager supports LEAD teaching artists, teachers and principals in 10+ project sites across NYC; oversees LEAD assessment activities; is responsible for administrative tasks including marketing, documentation and billing; assists in the preparation of LEAD-related grant proposals and reports to funders; manages the Education Department’s payroll; and collaborates with Education Department staff on additional administrative and curriculum-related tasks as assigned. Required skills: superb written and verbal communication skills; solid experience with video editing and web-based applications; advanced proficiency in database management. Minimum qualifications: 3-5 years as an arts administrator; 3-5 years as a teaching artist or as an arts specialist in urban schools; significant experience working with ELLs and/or ESL teachers in a K-12 setting.
