Administrative Assistant
Architecture Firm
(NY NY)

Architecture Firm seeking reliable and hardworking individual: to fulfill position of part-time to possible Full Time Administrative Assistant. Graphic Design or Interior Design Skills a plus.

Successful candidates will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and will be capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities include
-AP/AR bookkeeping
-human resources
-preparing contracts
-preparing proposals
-purchasing
-billing
-IT management
-Updating materials library
-Updating projects and schedules
-Aissiting principal architect and senior architects
-Interior design responsibilities
-Accessing and updating databases
-Running reports, and creating graphs & presentations
-Other duties as needed to ensure the company's smooth functioning
-Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Microsoft Office is required
-QuickBooks required
-Bachelor's Degree from a 2 or 4-year college or university
-Excellent technical abilities (Ex. Excel, QuickBooks, Word, Outlook, General Web Browsing Abilities).
-Design knowledge in architecture and Interior Design
-AutoCAD knowledge a plus
-Proficient with Adobe Suites, InDesign, Photoshop
-Excellent client communications skills
-Above par organizational skills
-Must have at least two (2) years of experience in an architecture office, construction office, or professional office environment
-Must be able to communicate effectively with staff
-Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
-Efficient and accurate typing skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
-Professional and dependable
