Collaborative workspace residency for 2 or more artists- this is a NO LIVING residency. Gallery will be turned over to artists for 3-4 weeks to create, culminating in a talk/event/performance/ exhibition developed by artists with the gallery. Must be collaborative; a new unique project; created in the space; and take the community into account in some way. all innovative projects will be considered, with some preference for those with local and community involvement. NO FEES of any kind to artists, but gallery does not cover room, board, art supplies, travel or technology.Our first residency program was extensively covered in the NYTimes, Newsday and local venues. Gallery is an artist-centered space hosting exhibitions, lectures, workshops and more, located in Port Chester NY, 25 miles north of Manhattan and one block from Metro-North train station.
