NYFA's Jobs in the Arts is the best national online listing of full- and part-time jobs and internships in the arts and culture industry. Click here to read recent praise for NYFA's Jobs in the Arts.

To submit a job listing, please read the following information carefully and fill out the form below.

Terms and Conditions for Posting a Job with NYFA:

  • To be listed, jobs must be arts- or culture-related.

  • Classified ad rates: 2 weeks ($70), 4 weeks ($100), 6 weeks ($135), 2 months ($165), 3 months ($235), 4 months ($300), 5 months ($365), 6 months ($430)

  • Advertising fees are the same for for-profits, non-profits, and individuals.

  • Payments may be made with a credit card (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover cards accepted) or by invoice. All credit card payments are made through a Verisign secure payment web site. If you do not have a credit card, please skip to the "Invoicing" section below.

  • New job listings are posted on NYFA's web site in 2-3 business days, usually sooner.

  • Equal Employment Opportunity is the law. It is prohibited to discriminate in hiring and all other aspects of employment on the basis of gender, race, age, sex, religion, ethnicity, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other category. For guidelines, visit the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

  • Independent Contractor or Employee? If you plan to post a freelance/consultant position, please ensure that it adheres to common law guidelines. Visit the Internal Revenue Service's Tax Topic factsheet.

  • Internship Listings: As per the U.S. Department of Labor's Fair Labor Standards Fact Sheet #71, private sector unpaid internships must satisfy a six-point test. Visit Fact Sheet #71 for requirements.

  • Job listing content is the sole responsibility of the originating organization. NYFA reserves the right to refuse illegal or "spam" job listings.

  • All sales are final; postings removed prior to expiration date will not be refunded.

Invoicing
If you do not have a credit card to make payments online, you may still submit a listing to NYFA's Jobs in the Arts. Please fill out the form below and select "Invoice" in the "Payment Type" field. After you complete your transaction, you will receive an email from NYFA with your electronic invoice (in PDF format) attached. Please remit the invoice for payment as soon as possible. NYFA will post your listing in 2-3 business days -- we do not need to receive your payment prior to posting.

Making Changes to a Listing
If you would like to make changes to a listing you have already submitted, or if you notice errors in a listing that has already been posted on the web site, please email your edits to joblist@nyfa.org. DO NOT CALL NYFA!

Error Messages from Verisign?
If you are experiencing a problem making a credit card payment through Verisign, please clean out the temporary Internet files in your browser software. Then, close your browser software, reopen it again, and resubmit your listing to us from scratch via the submission form below. This fixes the problem most of the time.
