Sock Job

Mark Allen

Sock Job is a conceptual feature length comedy directed by Mark Allen and starring Matthew Camp. The film has a strong visual style, with a dream-like narrative utilizing mechanical rooms, animatronic puppets, and non-CGI effects to examine male narcissism and lampoon cliches about male sexuality. Visually, the film features new twists on older styles of cinematic storytelling, with Three Stooges/Evil Dead-style slapstick, and special effects reminiscent of Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast and Orpheus.
