What is the six million pennies challenge?
A fundraiser geared toward raising the balance needed to complete Experience Prospect Park.

Why pennies?
If you’re like most people, you probably toss your pennies or other coins into a container at the end of your day, never to think much of them again.

Why do you do it?
Because you know a penny’s worth, or how much you can get from using one. Right? Well, it’s true a penny isn’t worth much, but a lot of them has great value. That’s why I’m asking if you’d be so kind as to donate your collection of pennies or coins period, toward completing the film. I need to collect roughly six million of them to meet my goal!

Are you local, meaning located with the five boroughs of New York city? Then click here to schedule an arrangement with me regarding when I can pick them up. Enter the words “Pennies Pickup” as your subject. If you’re not local, scheduling a pickup is likely improbable. However, you can make a contribution online by clicking on the orange "DONATE NOW" button at the top or bottom of this webpage.

Snail Mail
Last but not least, you can also opt to sent a check to the New York Foundation for the Arts if you don't care to schedule a pickup or contribute online. NYFA is my fiscal sponor, which means they handle all donations, record keeping and disbursement of funds submitted for the film’s production. NYFA is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. A contribution to them is a charitable donation. This means you can claim what you contributed as an itemized deduction on your tax returns, so do keep your record(s). Make out your check to New York Foundation for the Arts, as opposed to me, then put my name in the memo line. Not the other way around. You then mail the check to:
