MAUREEN FLEMING/WATERS OF IMMORTALITY

Maureen Fleming

WATERS OF IMMORTALITY project purpose is to provide the resources essential for artistic director Maureen Fleming to create new works, often in collaboration with significant composers, musicians, playwrights, filmmakers and visual artists and to maintain existing works in repertory and to increase appreciation and understanding of artistic creations through performances and workshops both nationally and internationally.

Details

"The goal of my work is to reveal the transcendent through images which focus on the human body as a vehicle of transformation. I am specifically interested in finding a universal art which touches the evolutionary traces imbedded in human experience and transcends the limits of nationality and gender, placed on us all in an aim of discovering what is truly universal about the journey of the soul and being human." ~ Maureen Fleming
