Image: The imagery of this work is inspired by a Japanese made Magnetic-Core Memory chip from the 1970’s. It is stylized to resemble imaginary of an ancient symbol, and is highlighted with specially ordered metallic gold thread that is made is Japan. The title is a reference to a species of butterfly with the same colors (magentas, golds, and dark brown that is almost black).
