At NYFA, Alicia works closely with Fiscally Sponsored projects and has facilitated numerous professional development programs that empower artists and cultural workers. Born in Lima, Peru, in her previous role, she directed an art gallery highlighting the work of artists from Latin America and Spain in NYC.

Alicia Ehni is Program Officer at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), working closely with Fiscally Sponsored projects on strategic planning and fundraising. At NYFA, she has also facilitated numerous professional development programs for artists and cultural workers. She served on Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA) Support for Individual Artists committee and is a former NY Chapter Chair for Membership for ArtTable. In her previous role as Director of Frederico Seve Gallery/Latincollector, Alicia had the opportunity to work with artist Carmen Herrera and Fanny Sanin and with artist estates, such as Fundacion Gego and Fundacion Emilio Sanchez.

Ehni was born in Lima, Peru, and studied Fine Arts at Universidad Católica, Perú and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, as well as Arts Administration at NYU.

Ehni is a 2018 fellow of NALAC Leadership Institute, was selected as Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts 2018-19 SHIFT Resident Artist, received a 2019 Puffin Foundation Grant, and was awarded a residency at MASS MoCA Summer 2019. Her solo exhibitions include Paracas, Time Stopped Beneath the Sand, Museo Julio C. Tello, Peru (2020); Distant Coordinates ICPNA-Perú (2016); Reflexions in Stone, Galería Lucía de la Puente, Perú (2015); and Turning Stone, Frederico Seve Gallery/Latincollector, NY (2013). She has an MFA in Combined Media at Hunter College (2023).

They will then review these in advance, and provide feedback during your conversation. Your session will take place virtually over zoom in Eastern Time (ET).
