Cave Canem Foundation, Inc. is the home of the nation’s largest collection of Black writers and is the premier institution for supporting the many voices of Black poetry. Through its fellowship program, writing workshops, book prizes, readings, and more, Cave Canem has become the national leader within the poetry community moving toward greater racial diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the field.
Cave Canem seeks an Executive Director who will build on the organization’s successful 20+-year history and, in partnership with the Board of Directors and staff, expand the organization with a vision towards the organization’s 25th anniversary in 2021 to further cultivate the artistic and professional growth of African American poets.
