Bridge Loan Program

NYFA offers cash flow loans to New York City-based cultural nonprofits who have received New York City Department of Cultural Affairs Funding.

NYFA does not provide cash flow loans to individual artists, only to those organizations who have qualified for New York City Department of Cultural Affairs funding. If this applies to your organization, click here for the Loan Form Application. If you are an individual artist interested in cash grants, please visit our Awards and Grants page.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for a cash flow loan, an organization must have an approved grant from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Individuals are not eligible for the Revolving Loan Program. Contact Sebi Vitale, Director of Finance, to confirm eligibility.

Deadline: Ongoing

Amounts + Fees: Loans may not exceed 80% of the contracted amount. The fee is 5% of the loan amount. Loans outstanding for more than 6 months may be reassessed for additional fees.

Application: To apply, please complete the Loan Form Application. The application must be completed and signed by the appropriate parties for both the borrower and the agency supporting the loan. The signed form and all supporting documentation should be submitted for approval and processing.
