Matthew is a Grammy and Academy Award-nominated producer or director of over 12 films, both documentary and narrative. He has programmed art houses and festivals, and serves as the Executive Director of the Rivertown Film Society in Nyack, NY, and represents the copyrights for the work of producer/director Robert Altman.

Matthew Seig brings his experience as a director/producer of documentary films, producer of features and television, programmer for community and art-house exhibition, and manager of libraries of films, music, and photographs to his role advising filmmakers. He worked extensively with director/producer Robert Altman as a production executive and producer, and edited a book about Altman’s life, published by Abrams. For NYFA and with support from the NEA, he produced video interviews about audience development conducted by Eugene Hernandez of the Film Society of Lincoln Center. He is the Director of Rivertown Film Society in Nyack, NY.
