Nazarian / Curcio is seeking skilled freelance Art Handlers in the Los Angeles area to support our gallery operations on an as-needed basis. Ideal candidates are experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in handling contemporary art with care and precision.

Responsibilities include:

• Safe handling, packing, and transportation of artworks across all media
• Installation and deinstallation of exhibitions and private viewings
• Condition checking and basic documentation support
• Patching, painting, and general wall prep
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and assisting with gallery upkeep
• 
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in art handling (gallery or fine art services preferred)
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
• Knowledge of safe handling, packing, and installation best practices
• Comfortable using basic tools (drills, levels, dollies, etc.)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a cube truck
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong communication skills
