The studio of a prominent fine art / editorial photographer in Downtown New York is seeking a full time studio manager to begin mid-end of June, 2025.
The role of the studio manager is to work closely with the artist on personal, commercial, and editorial projects. The studio manager serves as liaison between the artist, external parties (including agencies, publications, galleries, museums, vendors), and the studio staff which consists of 2 part-time assistants and multiple interns. On a daily basis the studio manager oversees all ongoing projects of the studio; serving as project manager to ensure that the artist's short and long term goals are being met. The ideal candidate would possess excellent skills in organization, communication, delegation, and multi tasking, as well as technical ability within photography specific materials and technology. The studio manager is not only the overseer of the studio but works directly on projects with the other assistants daily.
The ideal candidate would have management experience in an arts or production background, as well as technical experience with photography related hardware and software. Managing projects, meeting deadlines, and working proactively are all crucial to success in this role.

- Proficiency in adobe lightroom, photoshop, bridge, indesign
