Description

We're hiring a part-time (2-3 days a week) artist assistant to work in Woodbridge, CT. *


Faruqee/Driscoll Studio seeks someone who is observant, self-directed, and trustworthy. A curiosity for and dedication to a wide range of art techniques and the ability to switch between digital and hands-on interfaces is essential. Hourly wage is commensurate with relevant experience; the entry level rate is $20/hour. The hire will assist with: preparing painting supports, mixing colors, digital drawing (Photoshop), and painting production. Basic Qualifications: strong familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and paint/color mixing. Additional Qualifications: familiarity with hand and power tools.


*Woodbridge is a suburban location with very few public transportation options.
