Description
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate new business. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for social media marketing. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with our Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing plans for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Create and manage content calendars for each platform, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a community around the DF&A brand.
Content Creation and Management:
- Produce engaging and high-quality content tailored for each social media platform, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
- Manage and update DF&A's social media profiles regularly to reflect the latest marketing initiatives.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the Director of Operations, Copywriter and the Principal to align social media activities with broader business goals.
- Collaborate with the architects and designers, to support integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns on social media platforms to reach specific audience segments.
- Track and analyze the performance of social media efforts using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in branding across all social media channels and communications.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Identify new opportunities and emerging trends in social media marketing to keep our strategies innovative and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in [industry].
- Proven experience managing social media accounts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, strategies, and best practices.
- Proficient in social media management and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Miro etc.).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as Storyblok.
- Experience in video production and editing.
