Bortolami Gallery is seeking an administrative and archival intern starting immediately.
This internship is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations of a commercial art gallery. The intern will report directly to the gallery’s assistants and work on projects relating to the different aspects of gallery work, including sales, registration, and operations.
The internship will also provide an excellent opportunity to expand one’s vocabulary of contemporary art in both a verbal and written sense.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, and comfortable interacting with the public. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and an eagerness to expand one’s knowledge of contemporary art is key. The role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and interested in tasks across gallery departments.
