We are dedicated to celebrating the fusion of contemporary craftsmanship and rich cultural heritage, showcasing unique, handmade works exclusively crafted and sourced in Mexico. Our roster features distinguished artists and artisans, along with iconic pieces of 20th-century Mexican furniture, offering clients an elevated and immersive experience in Mexican design.
We are currently seeking a Gallery Sales Associate who is passionate, personable, and design-savvy, with a strong existing network of art collectors. The ideal candidate will bring both sales expertise and a deep appreciation for art and design to help grow and cultivate our client base. Client Engagement & Sales
- Welcome clients warmly and offer knowledgeable, personalized assistance
- Share the story, craftsmanship, and cultural context behind each piece
- Provide design guidance and support with custom order furniture items, art, and accessories.
- Build long-term client relationships through follow-up and tailored service
- Liaise with interior designers and architects on collaborative client projects.
- Schedule, Host and conduct learning sessions with Architects and Designers in store and
- at the client's office.
• Achieve sales targets by adhering to established processes, including ongoing training, lead review with management, and targeted coaching on sales techniques and closing strategies.
Gallery Operations
- Open and close the store, including alarm systems, lighting, and cash drawer procedures
- Perform daily cash handling and reconciliation duties
- Maintain gallery presentation standards, including cleanliness and product display
- Assist with light administrative tasks and shift management responsibilities
- Resolve client issues or operational concerns independently when necessary
- Communicate store or client concerns to management in a timely manner
- Process, package, and prepare online sales orders following processes in place
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a luxury client-facing or gallery sales environment.
- Proven sales record with strong client development and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional polish, professionalism, and discretion when working with clients and cultivating long-term relationships.
- Strong understanding of the art market; familiarity with Mexican contemporary art a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to dynamic project demands.
- BA or MA in Art History or a related field preferred but not required
- Computer literate and proficient in key business software.
- Punctual and responsible
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
- Availability to support gallery installations, events, and art fairs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.
- Ability to lift 25-50LB

MONDAY – FRIDAY: 10AM – 6PM
SATURDAY: 11AM – 7PM
SUNDAY: 12PM – 6PM
Schedule to be defined upon hiring / weekend availability required
