Position Overview

The Material Production Assistant is a key role in our materials team focused on developing and producing world class art materials to stock our Art Cafes and Gift Shops. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who is excited about learning the science and art behind art materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce art materials including pastels and watercolor by mixing, milling, pouring, setting, rolling, cutting, stamping, and drying batches of dry ingredients into finished goods 
• Assist production team in developing new material recipes 
• Package materials with secondary packaging 
• Maintain healthy inventory levels of both dry ingredients and finished goods across all locations
• Clean & maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with working on your feet for long stretches
• Familiarity with art supplies 
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
