Temporary Art Handler Positions – Full-Time | Immediately available

We’re looking for two experienced Art Handlers to join our team for a 2–4 week project assisting with the relocation of our warehouse from one Brooklyn location to another. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who knows how to handle high-value design pieces with care, precision, and professionalism.

About Us:

We are a well-established design gallery specializing in mid-century and contemporary furniture and sculpture. Our collection includes beautifully crafted, often delicate or rare pieces that require thoughtful handling and packing.

Your Role:

Working alongside and under the supervision of our long-time art handler and warehouse manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Wrapping and prepping artworks and design pieces for transport
• Loading and unloading the truck safely and efficiently
• Driving the truck occasionally between warehouse locations (local within Brooklyn)
• Helping to organize and place inventory at the new warehouse under guidance

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 4:30 PM

Start Date: Monday, May 6

Duration: 2–4 weeks (we’re flexible)

Compensation:

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience handling furniture, sculpture, or high-value art/design pieces
• Strong wrapping, packing, and loading skills
• Valid driver’s license – experience driving a truck in NYC is a big plus
• Team player with a good attitude and attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
