Project Coordinator

Part-Time 4-Month Renewable Contract

This is a flexible in-office (NYC) / remote position, with site visits necessary in the greater NYC area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized candidate with an interest in participating hands-on in the practical application of Architecture & Interior Design practices; it gives an entry to the understanding of how projects resolve, and what skills are demanded of successful players in the design world.

Current projects involve new construction, major renovation, and interior design. Additionally, we offer curatorial services and connoisseurship in fine and decorative arts.

A bachelor’s degree is required, and interest in, and enthusiasm for, design is critical. Position available for immediate hire. Must be based in the NYC area, and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the administrative & design staff in the filing and organization of materials and specifications,
• Assist and supervise on-site deliveries & installations,
• Prepare a “Home Book” referencing details of the furnishings and art used in the project,
• Communicate comfortably & effectively with all members of the team: clients, design staff & principal, as well as construction crew, craftsmen, and vendors,
• Source materials when necessary, especially furnishings & accessories.
