Description

Description:

This is a full-time position. The Apprentice for Juilliard Summer Programs plays a key role in shaping an exceptional and welcoming experience for the students, faculty, and staff who join our campus community each summer. Through thoughtful planning and detailed preparation, this position helps ensure that Juilliard Summer is delivered with the highest level of excellence and impact, reflecting the care, creativity, and collaboration that define our programs. From logistics and communication to cross-departmental coordination, this role helps lay the foundation for a meaningful and memorable summer.

Launched in 2024, Juilliard Summer brings together long-standing Juilliard summer programming and new initiatives designed to prepare young artists—primarily high school–aged musicians—for the next stage in their artistic journey. With new offerings planned for 2026, this position will also support the build and launch of future programs.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Summer Programs, the Apprentice for Juilliard Summer Programs works across nearly every area of the institution—including Admissions, Financial Aid, Facilities, Communications & Marketing, Web, Programming, Event Operations, Student Life (residence hall & dining), Health & Wellness, Human Resources, and more. This role provides a unique snapshot of how Juilliard functions and collaborates across departments to deliver high-impact educational experiences.

The salary is $18.50 per hour or a contracted amount of $29,600 for the school year. The schedule operates on standard office hours, requiring occasional flexibility to accommodate specific events or projects. This is a forward-facing role, and an on-campus presence to interact with students, faculty, staff, and guests is expected.
