Office Assistant for a Picture Framing company

This is a temporary position that could lead to a permanent f/t. We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily office operations and production needs for our high end custom picture framing company in East Williamsburg

Responsibilities include:

• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist clients in person, by phone, and via email
• Research materials, vendors, and equipment; assist with purchasing and POs
• Support production paperwork (work orders, labels, reports, final inspection photos)
• Coordinate building issues and office maintenance

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills experience a must.
• Comfortable with basic math, measurements, and fractions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow up on tasks
• Proficient in Mac OS, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office (FileMaker & Photoshop a plus)
• Must be willing to go up and down stairs as needed sometimes frequently to let people in
• This is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized and keeping an office running smoothly, and working in a small friendly environment and has an fine arts background

6 sick days/ year

2 weeks paid vacation once the job becomes permanent
