Description

THE ROLE

At Digital Counsel, we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the seamless execution of digital campaigns and ensure the highest standards of project management and client service. Your time will be dedicated to one global client that focuses on programs and exhibitions with international museums,thought leaders across contemporary art, art writing, technology, and new media, and the most compelling artists of our time. We are looking for full or part-time applicants based on experience. 


This role combines strategic oversight with meticulous operational management, focusing on maintaining project timelines, handling client feedback, and ensuring quality across all deliverables. As a vital link between our creative teams and clients, you will manage both the big picture and the minute details, from campaign strategy to the precision of social captions. You must be highly organized and motivated to succeed both as a team leader and individual contributor. 


WHAT THAT MEANS


Agency Team and Communication Management:


  • Serve as the strategic lead and day-to-day liaison across the project team, including the synthesization of daily client feedback and real-time progress made throughout the work day.


  • Oversee the development and execution of overall project plans per month and per quarter, ensuring alignment with client objectives.


  • Lead and inspire project teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workflow management.


  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and clients. Implementing changes and managing up wherever necessary. 


Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for one global client partner, understanding their business objectives and further enriching our strong long-term relationship in a way that leads to new projects.


  • Serve as a strategic voice and day-to-day project manager.


  • Synthesize daily client feedback to relay to the team as actionable next steps with key stakeholders.


  • Oversee the development and presentation of agendas, campaigns, and reports to meet client objectives.


  • Regularly assess client satisfaction and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes based on client feedback.


Project Management 


  • Build and manage timelines for multichannel digital strategies, including organic and paid social media campaigns, editorial articles, artist commissions, and web-based special projects.


  • Develop and maintain detailed individual project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines along with addressing client feedback and changes.


  • Enforcement and management of project management best practices via agency wide tools (ie: morning stand-ups, Basecamp, Slack integrations, GPTs, etc).


  • Prioritize resources across multiple timelines and deliverables to ensure that teams are staffed appropriately.


  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.


  • Create and develop briefs to clearly communicate expectations to internal and external contributors.



Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee version control and ensure accurate documentation for all project-related materials.


  • Scrutinize content strategies and social media calendars, asking informed questions to optimize campaign planning and delivery.


  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness in all deliverables.


  • Concentrate on ensuring quality across all aspects, encompassing timeliness, efficiency, accuracy, depth, courtesy, and clean copy.


  • Enforcement and management of project management best practices via agency wide tools (ie: morning stand-ups, Basecamp, Slack integrations, GPTs, Notion, etc)


  • Manage annual budget tracker in coordination with the CEO and Finance department on a biweekly basis. 


Quality Assurance & Control:

  • Concentrate on ensuring quality across all aspects, encompassing timeliness, efficiency, accuracy, depth, courtesy, and clean copy.


  • Ensure all project deliverables and social assets meet high-quality standards and client expectations by working with the team for input.


  • Traffic daily assets and client communications for quality assurance.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, project management, or a related role within the agency, digital marketing, creative, and/or advertising industry.


  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.


  • Excellent communication skills to work across departments


  • Great with Google Suite, Basecamp, and Airtable, etc. Open to new AI tools.


  • Ability to confidently lead meetings, present agendas and strategy, and manage the flow of information between stakeholders.


  • Experience managing projects within the contemporary art or cultural sectors is desirable.
