Special Events Usher

Description

The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine is the world's largest Gothic cathedral. We need a team of ushers to help us make the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine the world's most welcoming cathedral.

Here's what we ask our ushers to do:

• Greet guests to ticketed and non-ticketed events and guide them to their seats.
• Provide service with a welcoming and calm demeanor, to be a part of creating, for every guest, a memorable and positive experience.
• Be available for big Cathedral services such as Easter Sunday, the Feast of St. Francis (the first Sunday in October), Christmas and New Years eves, concerts and other special events throughout the year. (No one is expected to be available for all of these events.)

Previous experience with ushering and crowd management are plusses, but are not mandatory. Our best ushers are those who can keep cool and exude warmth. If that's you, please get in touch.
