Domestic Shipper / Art Packing Associate / Art Handler

Art Handler/Packer

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-   Proper handling of art objects, including packing for shipment and carry out

-   Process shipping labels using USPS/UPS/FedEx software

-   De-install weekly/bi-weekly auction exhibitions & transfer to inhouse storage

-   Receive incoming packages and release to relevant department

-   Greet vendors, including building maintenance and outside art shippers.

-   Interact with clients directly and on a daily basis

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience handling art

- Team player who can work in a fast past and detail-oriented environment

- Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff-members and clientele

- Hard working and reliable with a forward-thinking attitude

- Must have interest in fine art and historical objects

- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

- Knowledge of auction market preferred

This a full time position. Monday thru Friday-10-6.
